TSATA Apprenticeship Endorsement Workshop

The TSATA Education Committee is excited to announce that an Apprenticeship Endorsement Workshop will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 2-4pm at the University of North Texas.  This workshop is open to all athletic trainers, administrators, and interested individuals who would like to learn more about this initiative.  The history and purpose of Apprenticeship Endorsement will be addressed along with TDLR requirements, utilization of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities as defined within the program, along with ATrack usage.  This in-person workshop will have a Zoom option.  Please RSVP at https://forms.office.com/r/H4nyjgkbU4 for more event specific information.  Additional information may be obtained at Apprenticeship Endorsement Workshop Invitation or by visiting the TSATA Education Committee Page. The TSATA Education Committee, led by Sherry Ann Miller and Billy Ray Laxton, intends to promote, enhance and advance the Texas Licensure Apprenticeship (Method A), by offering an Endorsement program. We hope to improve organization, guidance, and modeling of curriculum and apprenticeship. We intend to, not only raise test scores, but improve the communication and administration with TSATA, TDLR and the Universities and Colleges that provide Apprenticeship Programs for Athletic Training.
