Through this, she escorted players to appointments with orthopedic surgeon. She realized that she wanted to be pursue orthopedics. Now, she helps lead the Perry initiative where program specialists, all women pursuing graduate degrees in science or engineering, travel the country nearly every weekend during the school year to host educational programs for young women. They will be hosting a Perry Outreach Program in El Paso on October 22 and just held one in North Texas at Texas Scottish Rite for Children.
